One of the things I enjoy most about La Vie Parisienne in Cebu City is the fact that it is actually a cluster of all things French. Sticking true to its translation, A French lifestyle, the compound surrounding the area is where you can immerse yourself in as much French culture as possible.
For one thing, Alliance FrancaisCebu is situated in the same enclave; perfect for those who want to learn how to speak the language of love. There's also La Maison Rose, one of the best (if not the only) French restaurants in Cebu, which I still have to try and blog before I leave the city. Recently opened, a new pizza garden called Pizza Garden Cebu is another part of the compound that I have to try out. And as you may have known by now, La Vie Parisienne is actually a boulangerie, a bakery of where the best croissants and delightful pastries are located in this side of town. Adding to that is a fine collection of some of the most affordable yet quality wines I've ever come in contact with.

But amidst this plethora of French flavors, a smaller stall lies right beside the entrance to this hidden gem. After exploring French cuisine at its finest, it's time to cleanse your palate from all the saveurs you've played around with. And what better way to do that than to indulge in a cup of low calorie ice cream. Did I mention it comes from fresh fruits?

Adorned in a Moroccan-looking cart, each ingredient comes fresh and without any preservatives. Peeking into the jar of mixed berries, I was surprised when I found actual berries inside and not a sad looking fruit that came from a can.

Once you give your order, the attendant will mix it with the ice and a few other ingredients. Based on my research, the base of the ice cream consists of eggs, flour, salt, skimmed milk, and a few other ingredients. In a few minutes, you will be handed with a cup of your chosen flavor in a sturdy cupcake liner.
